Shipping Materials Guide

It’s important to me as a pagan, and a small business owner to be mindful about the impact my shop has on the planet. A large part of this is choosing the least wasteful shipping materials I can find.

Other than reusing items I come across, I use a mix of eco-friendly packaging from EcoEnclose. To be more specific, their GreenWrap, compostable padded mailers, and recyclable bubble mailers. And as of 2021, I invested in a thermal printer so I could make the switch to their zero-waste shipping labels.

A Guide For Disposing Of Your Packaging Materials:

GreenWrap, the paper alternative to bubble wrap, is curbside recyclable and naturally biodegradable.

The kraft mailers are made with 100% recycled content. Remove the red plastic tear strip on the back and the rest is naturally biodegradable! Make sure to peel off the recyclable shipping label before throwing the mailer into your compost.

The bubble mailers’ outer material is #4 LDPE plastic and their inside layer if #2 LDPE plastic. Participating grocery stores that have recycling centers for their grocery bags should be able to accept these mailers.

And finally, the shipping labels are made from 100% recycled content and are curbside recyclable.
